EMILIANO LEON
BIO
Emiliano Leon is a musician multi-instrumentalist, that started his career very young aged. Born and raised in Mexico City the heart of Mexico was influenced by all kinds of music from traditional and Mexican folklore to contemporary music like classic rock.
Raul Leon (father) founded the first music school for the family business in 1992, then Waldo Leon (brother) took the leadership in 2000, and later in 2006 Emiliano partnered with him to build up Esmuc, later in 2018 Emiliano started his music school in Mexico City which still operating as a success business.
In 2022 Emiliano moved to Santa Fe New Mexico with his family where continued his mission in life, giving music and teaching to the world.

Playing music is a group experience, even when you play solo there is a team of people that makes that performance possible.
When we play as a group we are aware of what each one is playing and how what I play fits perfectly with other mate performance, there are many values that are learned from playing in a group, one of them is that I try to do better every time, but for the good of the whole group.
Those values applied in the way we relate to other people are what our society needs.

When you learn music you learn to concentrate 100% on what you are doing at that moment, since a musician has to think in the order of what he is playing and execute it at the same time, we learn to connect the two parts of our brain, since muscle memory, logical mind and emotions are involved.
Although children benefit most from acquiring these skills when learning music, anyone of any age can take advantage of this to benefit.
